FOTD: Kryolan Dubai – Bright Eyes

I picked up my first Kryolan palette at PHAMExpo and wanted to share the look with you!

I love the pigmentation of this palette and used four out of the five colors in this look.

Products used for this look are:

Brows – elf Eyebrow Kit
Shadow – Kryolan Dubai – pink (SA 75), Mandarin, orange (RB 50), and Golden Pink.
Liner – POP Beauty Sooty Black Liner
Mascara – Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara

Foundation – NARS Copacabana mixed with Revlon Photoready in 003 Shell
Bronzer – Too Faced Pink Leopard
Blush – NARS Orgasm
Highlighter – Estee Lauder Illuminating Powder Gelee in 01 Heat Wave
Setting Powder – Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Luminous Light

NARS Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil in New Lover with Fierce Magenta Romance layered on top

It was a little difficult to photograph, the pink and orange are a little brighter in the product photo then in person.

Close-up of the eyes. Mandarin on the inner third, orange (RB 50) in the middle, neon pink (SA 75) on the outer corner, and Golden Pink through the crease.

Can I just say I am in love with the Smashbox¬†Full Exposure Mascara? Ok. I’m going to say it. I’m in love with the Smashbox¬†Full Exposure Mascara!

Really elongates my lashes and make them pop!

I wasn’t too keen on the POP Beauty liner as it was difficult to apply.

I quite liked the combo of Fierce Magenta’s Romance lip gloss over the NARS lip pencil. Romance is a goldy-pink gloss. As with most gloss’s it needed re-applying throughout the day, but the color is just lovely.

Nailin’ Nail Art: Anne Kathleen Fern

Finally getting back on this blogging train…err…thing :)

Today I have some nail art using Sinful Colors Black on Black and Anne Kathleen Fern.
Full disclosure: Anne Kathleen is my newly released shop! I sell handmade (by me) nail polish, and I also make fine jewelry that I will soon be adding to the shop.

For the design I used two coats of Sinful Colors Black on Black. Then I cut two pieces, per nail, of striping tape and 1 layer of Anne Kathleen Fern on top of that. This color changes quite dramatically depending on the base coat, though it can also be worn on its own in about 3 coats. And of course I used Seche Vite Quick Dry Topcoat to …. well, top it off :) (as well as the Seche Ridge Filling Base Coat, except, that was put on first before all the rest, as is usual with base coat)

(Please excuse the terrible lighting! Bathroom lighting, my lightbox was not yet set up at this time)

Sinful Colors can be purchased at Rite Aid and I’m wracking my brain trying to think if I’ve seen it at Walmart….hmm…. Google!
Yup! Walmart and apparently Walgreens as well (I never go there).

And Anne Kathleen can be purchased online at
